Blue Iris Notary is only commissioned to travel in the city of Rochester, NY. 


No. Anywhere in the US where remote notarization is accepted.  Connecticut, California, Delaware, District of Columbia, and Georgia are yet to fully adopt RON. These states do not allow Remote Online Notarization 


An acknowledgment is a declaration that the signer understands the contents of a document and is willingly signing it. The signer may sign the acknowledgment outside of the presence of a notary.


The purpose of a jurat is for the signer to swear or affirm that the content of a document is accurate or truthful according to their knowledge. Signer must appear before a notary at the time of signing. An oath or affirmation will be verbally administered where the signer says aloud that he or she promised that the statements in the document are true.


You will need to bring a valid government-issued ID, the document to be notarized, and any other necessary paperwork or forms.


Valid IDs include: state issued ID/driver's license, Mexican, Canadian, Military, US passport, foreign passport, permanent residence card

Notaries are not permitted to advise what type of notarization form is needed. The signer must contact the person/institution requesting notarization to verify.
